26th Annual Mid-Town Church WalkThe Annual Louisiana Area Historical Museum Mid-Town Church Walk. Participating churches include: Bethel AME, Christian - Disciples of Christ, First Baptist, Centenary Methodist, Calvary Episcopal, and First Presbyterian. Each church will have a 15 minute Christmas presentation. The walk will end at the Presbyterian Church with a soup supper.
Historic Ghost ToursWe are continually working to connect our past residents to the present, even if they are long dead. However, sometimes the dead try to make first contact. We will be hosting two historic ghost tours, on August 21st & 28th 2021, to share the history of the town and how the Louisianans of old remain with us.
It is $25.00 per person with all proceeds going to enhance the beauty and history of Louisiana. Please follow one of the links below to register. You must register ahead of time. Register soon! Spots are limited!
Ribs on the RiverOctober 22nd - 23rd 2021 Join us for Ribs on the River. Ribs on the River is a Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event. There will be bands, a pie competition, cornhole tournament, and a Masters Barbecue Cook Off!

36th Annual Louisiana ColorfestLouisiana is home to Pike County's largest festival, the Louisiana Colorfest, attended by over 8,000 people annually. Colorfest has been moved to the first weekend in October, the 2nd & 3rd, 2021 We look forward to seeing you there!
