Our 2nd Annual Louisiana Bluegrass Pickers Festival is taking place on historic Georgia Street. This festival will begin with vendors lining the streets and competitions kicking off the busy day. Live bluegrass and folk bands will be playing during the day and into the evening. Participate in the corn-hole competition, scavenger hunt, and the fiddle contest. Enjoy the wide selection of vendors and grab some grub from the wide selection of food trucks. Bring the kids to see the petting zoo and feed the animals. 38th Annual Louisiana Colorfest

Louisiana is home to Pike County's largest festival, the Louisiana Colorfest, attended by over 8,000 people annually. This two-day festival has live bands, kids activities, duck races, sidewalk chalk competitions, beard and baby contests, and a talent show! We look forward to seeing you there!
Come visit Louisiana for the evening! The Louisiana History Museum will open and have live organ music playing. at 4PM. Make sure to stop in and see Santa at the museum after the parade!
The Christmas parade will begin at 5PM. After the Christmas parade, the town tree will be lit and vendor shopping is available.

Tree Trimming and Santa @ the Louisiana Area Historical Museum
Christmas carols will be played on an antique pump organ at a free concert of Christmas music at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, before the downtown Christmas parade and the Museum's Tree Trimming Party. Following the Christmas parade, the Museum will be hosting Santa Claus for kids and their families.

STARTS at Bethel AME at the corner of N. 6th and Tennessee St. at 3:00PM
The Annual Louisiana Area Historical Museum Mid-Town Church Walk. Participating churches include: Bethel AME, Christian - Disciples of Christ, First Baptist, Centenary Methodist, Calvary Episcopal, and First Presbyterian. Each church will have a 15 minute Christmas presentation. The walk will end at the Presbyterian Church with refreshments of cider and cookies.
